Cashed Casino Payment Methods
Nine ways in, five ways out, C$20 minimum across the board and no casino-side fees. Here is what each one actually costs you in time.
Cashed Casino takes Interac e-Transfer, iDebit, Visa Debit, Mastercard debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly, MuchBetter, PayPal and direct bank transfer from Canadian players. The minimum deposit is C$20 on all of them, the casino adds no fee either way, and everything is settled in Canadian dollars. Payouts go back to the method you deposited with and normally clear in 24 to 48 hours.
That is the short version, and for most people it is the whole story. The longer version matters when something goes wrong — and with Canadian casino payments, something usually goes wrong at the bank rather than at the casino. A deposit that vanishes into a "transaction cannot be completed" screen is almost never the cashier's fault. It is your bank deciding it does not want to send money to a gambling merchant, and no amount of retrying will change its mind.
We have kept this page structured around what actually breaks: which rail to pick, what the limits really are, what the charge looks like on your statement, and what to do when a payment bounces. If you only care about how fast the money comes back, the withdrawal times page goes deeper on payout speeds; if you are trying to get in for as little as possible, see minimum deposit.
Every Method, Side by Side
Limits below are per transaction. The C$20 floor is uniform; the ceilings differ because the wallet providers impose their own caps on top of the casino's. "Withdrawal" means the method can be used to take money out as well as put it in — five of the nine can.
| Method | Min | Max | Deposit Speed | Fee | Withdrawal |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | C$20 | C$5,000 | 2–15 min | None | Yes — 24h |
| iDebit | C$20 | C$3,000 | Instant | None | Yes — 24–48h |
| Visa Debit | C$20 | C$4,000 | Instant | None | Yes — 3–5 days |
| Mastercard Debit | C$20 | C$4,000 | Instant | None | Deposits only |
| Apple Pay | C$20 | C$2,500 | Instant | None | Deposits only |
| Google Pay | C$20 | C$2,500 | Instant | None | Deposits only |
| Trustly | C$20 | C$5,000 | Instant | None | Yes — 24–48h |
| MuchBetter | C$20 | C$3,000 | Instant | None | Yes — 24h |
| PayPal | C$20 | C$3,000 | Instant | None | Yes — 24h |
| Bank transfer | C$50 | C$10,000 | 1–3 days | None | Yes — 3–5 days |
| InstaDebit | — | — | Withdrawn | — | Closed 27 Feb 2026 |
Minimum withdrawal is C$30 regardless of method. Bank transfer is the only deposit route with a higher floor.
Bank Rails: Interac, iDebit and Wire
If you are Canadian and you have used any payment service in the last decade, you have used Interac. It is the country's default rail, it is built into every major bank's app, and it is the option most Cashed Casino players reach for first. The casino's implementation is the standard one: you pick Interac in the cashier, you get an email or a redirect to your bank's login, you approve, and the money is in your balance within a couple of minutes. On a bad night — usually a Friday evening, when volumes spike — it can stretch to fifteen.
Interac also runs in reverse, which is what makes it the sensible default. Withdrawals go back to the bank account tied to the same email address, and in our checks they land inside 24 hours once verification is cleared. There is no card network in between adding two working days to the trip, which is why Interac consistently beats Visa Debit on the way out even though both are "your bank account" underneath.
iDebit is the other bank-to-casino option. It works differently: instead of an e-transfer, it logs into your online banking on your behalf and pushes a payment straight from your chequing account. The upside is that it goes through at some banks that quietly throttle Interac gambling transfers. The downside is that you are handing banking credentials to a third party, which some people are simply not willing to do, and that is a fair position.
InstaDebit, which used to sit alongside iDebit and did essentially the same job, shut down on 27 February 2026. A lot of casino guides have not caught up and still list it. Cashed Casino removed it from the cashier when it closed, and iDebit is the direct replacement — same idea, same company family, still operating.
Direct bank transfer is the slow, boring, reliable option. It has a C$50 floor rather than C$20, takes one to three business days in and three to five out, and exists mainly for players moving four-figure amounts where a wire's paper trail is a feature rather than a nuisance. For a C$50 Friday-night deposit it is the wrong tool.
Practical note: whichever rail you pick for the deposit is the one you are stuck with for the withdrawal. Anti-money-laundering rules require payouts to return along the path the money came in, at least up to the amount deposited. If you fund with Apple Pay — which cannot pay out — the casino will ask for a bank account or Interac details before it can release anything.
Debit Cards — and Why Credit Cards Are a Trap
Visa Debit and Mastercard debit both work at Cashed Casino. Deposits are instant, the limit is C$4,000 per transaction, and there is no casino fee. The wrinkle is on the way back: Visa Debit supports payouts through Visa Direct and takes three to five working days, while Mastercard debit is deposit-only, so a Mastercard player has to nominate a different route to cash out. That catches people out often enough that it is worth checking before you deposit rather than after you win.
The bigger issue is credit cards. Canada has not copied the UK's outright ban on credit card gambling, so you will find offshore casinos that happily accept one. Doing it is still a bad idea, and not for moral reasons. Most Canadian issuers code a gambling transaction as a cash advance rather than a purchase. That means no interest-free grace period — interest starts the moment the transaction posts — plus a cash advance fee of roughly C$5 or 3% to 5% of the amount, whichever is greater. A C$200 deposit can quietly cost C$210 before you have spun anything, and it keeps costing until the statement is paid in full.
There is a second cost that is easy to miss: cash advances often sit at a higher APR than purchases, and on many cards payments are applied to the lower-interest balance first. So the expensive slice is the last thing to get cleared. Use a debit rail. Every method in the table above draws on money you actually have.
Good debit habits
- Use a card in your own legal name — a joint card in a partner's name will fail verification
- Check the card is enabled for online and international purchases
- Keep the card active until your first withdrawal has cleared
What to avoid
- Credit cards — cash advance fees and same-day interest
- Prepaid gift cards — they cannot receive a payout
- Retrying a declined card five times — it can trigger a fraud lock
Wallets and Pay-by-Phone
PayPal, MuchBetter and Trustly are the three wallets that pay out as well as pay in, and all three are quick — 24 hours is typical, and MuchBetter has been the fastest in our spot checks because it settles inside its own network rather than touching a bank. PayPal is the one most Canadians already have, and it adds a useful layer of separation: the casino sees a PayPal reference, not your card number.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are a different animal. They are not wallets in the balance-holding sense; they are a tokenised way of presenting the debit card you already have on file. That makes them the fastest possible deposit — Face ID and you are done, no typing a 16-digit number on a phone keyboard — but it also means they cannot be a payout destination. The money has to come back to the underlying account by another route.
One thing worth knowing about Apple Pay in particular: some Canadian banks apply a lower per-transaction limit to tokenised payments than to the physical card. If a C$1,000 Apple Pay deposit fails while a C$400 one goes through, that is usually the reason, and it is set at your bank, not at Cashed Casino.
Why Your Payment Was Declined
The cashier gives you one generic message no matter what went wrong, which is maddening but standard — payment processors deliberately do not leak the reason. Work through these in order; in our experience the first three cover the overwhelming majority of cases.
-
1
Your bank blocks gambling merchants. Several Canadian banks and most app-first challengers apply a merchant-category block to gambling transactions. Some let you toggle it off in the app, some do not offer the option at all. If a second method from the same bank also fails, this is your answer.
-
2
You used a credit card. Cashed Casino's Canadian cashier is debit-first. A Visa or Mastercard credit card will often be refused at the gateway before it ever reaches your issuer.
-
3
Name mismatch. The name on the funding account must match the name on your casino account exactly. "Mike" versus "Michael" is enough to fail an automated check.
-
4
You are over a daily limit. Interac has bank-set daily and weekly send limits, typically C$3,000 per day, that sit below the casino's own ceiling. Several small deposits can hit it without any single one looking large.
-
5
A deposit limit you set yourself. Responsible-gambling limits are enforced silently and cannot be lifted instantly — a cooling-off period applies to increases. Check the limits panel in your account before assuming the bank is at fault.

The site itself is having a bad hour. Rare, but it happens. If deposits fail on two different rails at once, check the status page before you start phoning your bank.
How It Shows Up on Your Bank Statement
Casino deposits rarely appear under the casino's own name. They are routed through a payment processor, and it is the processor's descriptor that lands on your statement — usually an unfamiliar company name plus a city, sometimes a reference number. This is normal, not a sign that something has gone wrong, but it is also the single most common reason people phone their bank to report fraud on a transaction they made themselves.
Two practical consequences. First, do not dispute a charge you do not recognise until you have checked your casino transaction history for a matching amount and date — a chargeback on a legitimate deposit will get your account frozen and, in most terms of service, forfeited. Second, if you are applying for a mortgage, be aware that gambling processor descriptors are visible to underwriters reviewing three months of statements, whatever name they carry.
| What you did | What the statement looks like |
|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer deposit | "INTERAC E-TRANSFER" plus the processor's recipient name |
| Visa Debit deposit | Processor trading name + city, coded as a purchase |
| Apple Pay or Google Pay deposit | Same descriptor as the underlying card, often with an "APLPAY" prefix |
| Withdrawal to Interac | Incoming e-transfer, auto-deposited if you have that enabled |
| Withdrawal to Visa Debit | A credit or refund line, not a new deposit — easy to overlook |
Mistakes That Cost Canadian Players Money
Depositing before verifying
Verification is required before the first withdrawal, not before the first deposit — so people skip it, win, and then wait two extra days at exactly the wrong moment. Upload the documents on day one while you are not in a hurry.
Funding with a method that cannot pay out
Apple Pay, Google Pay and Mastercard debit are one-way. If they are your only funding source, the payout gets held while the casino verifies a new destination account.
Depositing under a bonus minimum
The cashier minimum is C$20; the welcome offer has its own qualifying amount. A deposit that clears the first but not the second is not retroactively upgraded, and support cannot apply the bonus after the fact.
Requesting a withdrawal with a bonus live
Cashing out while wagering is unfinished usually forfeits the bonus and anything won from it. Finish the wagering or forfeit deliberately — do not find out by accident.
Cancelling and re-requesting a payout
Every cancellation sends the request to the back of the processing queue. Reversing a withdrawal to keep playing is the most expensive habit in online gambling.
Using someone else's account
Third-party payments are refused across the industry. A deposit from a partner's or parent's account will be reversed and can void the account outright.
What Changed Over the Past Year
Canadian casino banking has moved more in the last twelve months than in the five years before it. If you played here in 2025 and are coming back, these are the differences that matter.
| Area | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| InstaDebit | Listed alongside iDebit | Closed 27 Feb 2026, removed from cashier |
| Apple Pay / Google Pay | Not offered | Live for deposits, C$2,500 cap |
| Interac payouts | 48–72 hours | Typically inside 24 hours |
| Minimum deposit | C$25 on cards | C$20 flat across all methods |
| Verification | Manual review, 24–72 hours | Automated ID check, most clear in 2–4 hours |
Payment Questions Players Actually Ask
Does Cashed Casino accept Interac e-Transfer?
Yes. Interac e-Transfer is the main Canadian rail at Cashed Casino and works for both deposits and withdrawals. Deposits land within a few minutes, withdrawals are paid back to the same email-linked bank account, usually inside 24 hours once your account is verified.
What is the minimum deposit at Cashed Casino?
C$20 on every method. There is no cheaper route in — Apple Pay, iDebit and Interac all use the same C$20 floor.
Does Cashed Casino charge fees on deposits?
No. Cashed Casino does not add a fee to any deposit or withdrawal in CAD. Your own bank may still treat a gambling transaction as a cash advance if you use a credit card, which is a charge from the bank, not from the casino.
Why was my deposit declined at Cashed Casino?
The three common causes are a bank-side gambling block, a credit card being refused because the casino only takes debit, and a name mismatch between your bank account and your casino account. All three show the same generic error on screen, so check them in that order.
Can I still use InstaDebit at Cashed Casino?
No. InstaDebit shut down on 27 February 2026 and the option was removed from the cashier. iDebit is the closest replacement — it is the same style of bank-to-casino transfer and it is still live.
What currency does Cashed Casino use?
Canadian dollars. Balances, limits and payouts are all in CAD, so there is no conversion spread on an Interac or debit card transaction from a Canadian bank.
Ready to Fund Your Account?
C$20 minimum, no fees, and Interac payouts back inside a day once you are verified.
